O Brave New World, That has such people in't...

"Don't you wish you were free, Lenina?"

"Fat; having lost here youth; with bad teeth, and a blotched complexion, and that figure (Ford!) - you simply couldn't look at her without feeling sick..."

"His back was horizontally streaked with crimson, and from weal to weal ran thin trickles of blood."

  1. EEK this is my favorite dystopian novel! can't believe this was written in the 1920s. really lovely artwork! <3 so glad to see artworks about Brave New World!

    1. Thank you!! I reeeeally loved the book! I'd read a blurb about it ages ago and was curious, but didn't read it until the end of last year when I saw the House of Illustrators/Folio Society brief which was sort of my main impetus for reading it and I'm so glad I did. It really was so ahead of its time!
